  1. Arrange all the ingredients nearby before you start the process of preparation of Goda Masala Powder.
  2. Dry roast coriander and cumin seeds separately first at low to medium heat till aromatic and gets golden brown color but make sure it doesn’t get burnt. Once done, transfer into mixing bowl.
  3. In the same pan, dry roast each shah jeera, black pepper and stone flower separately at low to medium heat till gets golden brown color. After done, transfer into same bowl as above.
  4. Dry roast the each red chili, bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, black cardamom, mace and sesame seeds separately at low to medium heat till gets golden brown color. Once its done, transfer into mixing bowl.
  5. Lastly, dry roast dry coconut at low to medium heat till aromatic and golden brown color. Once its done, keep it separate to other roasted ingredients.
  6. Let all dry roasted spices cool down.
  7. Grind all spices in grinder to make a fine powder. Add roasted coconut and mix it well.
  8. Maharashtrian Goda Masala Powder is ready. Keep it in airtight container.
