Ingredients
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, add multi-grain flour, wheat flour and salt, add little by little water and make a semi soft dough. Cover the dough with lid and leave it for 10 minutes. After leaving it for 10 minutes knead the dough for 1 min. To check if dough is proper ensure that it does not stick on hand, if it is sticky sprinkle some dry flour and knead it again.
  2. Make a small size round balls as shown in picture and roll it to a 6 inch round shape fulka using rolling pin. You may need to dust the dough balls regularly during the rolling process.
  3. Heat tava at medium heat and place the raw fulka for cooking on hot tava. Once you see small bubbles popping up on fulka, turn it over.
  4. Let the other side get cook until as shown in picture.
  5. To puff the fulka, take it off from the tava and place it on the flame with top of the fulka facing to the net on an electric stove. If you are using gas stove, place directly on the flame. Wait for few seconds, the fulka will get completely puffed. Take it out from the flame and store in a covered container. Use the same procedure to make fulka from rest of the dough.
  6. Keep it in a closed container so that it remains soft.
  7. Hot fulka is ready to be served with curry.
