Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Ingredients for poori.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients very well, then add water little by little and mix it well.
  3. Knead the dough and make a nice not very soft and not very tight dough. Cover it and keep it aside for 1 hr. Take a small size of dough, dust with wheat flour (atta) and roll it using by rolling pin.
  4. Make a big size thin circle. Cut it using by small cookie cutter. Cover the poori with a clean damp cloth. Keep it aside.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan at medium to high heat, once it hot enough, reduce the heat to medium. You should roll each poori using the rolling pin slightly before putting them into the oil, this helps most of them to pop up. Fry till golden color on both sides. In order for poori to pop up, carefully splash oil onto the poori until it rises.
  6. Remove the poori from hot oil, place on tissue paper to absorb the excess oil. Let it cool down.
  7. Poori is ready for pani poori.
  8. Enjoy it with spicy and tangy pani.
