Pasta sauce is available in stores in variety of flavor and brand. However, making pasta sauce at home gives a fresh flavor and taste to your pasta dishes. Making it is a very simple process and you can store it after making for few servings, so you don’t have to make it every time. You can add your own flavors based on your taste.

  1. Cut the onion, red, yellow and green bell pepper. Keep it aside. Rinse the parsley with water and chop it and keep it aside. Clean the spring onion with water and chop it in small pieces.
  2. Spices ingredients for pasta sauce.
  3. Drop the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 sec & remove. Peel the tomatoes and make puree in grinder & keep aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in the pan and add chopped garlic and saute it till it gets slightly golden color. Add chopped onion and little salt and saute till onion becomes translucent.
  5. Add chopped bell peppers and stir it for 5 minutes.
  6. Add tomato puree and sea salt and cook in medium heat for 20-25 minutes or till sauce gets thicken consistency.
  7. Add all dry herbs listed in ingredient as well as honey, cook in low heat with covered lid till the sauce gets thick consistency. Add chopped parsley & mix it well.
  8. Homemade pasta sauce is ready. This pasta sauce can be store in a fridge for 2 -3 week.
  9. Store in a airtight container. Use the sauce in making pasta based dishes.
