Instructions
  1. Cut Gobhi (cauliflower) florets into big size retaining the long stamps. Clean with water 2-3 times and drain all water from Gobhi. Keep it aside.
  2. Take 1 cup home made yogurt (curd) or store bought yogurt in muslin cloth. Tie with rubber band and hang it for 1-2 hrs. Place one bowl under it so the water from yogurt will get accumulated in it which you could use to make butter milk. In mixing bowl, add hung yogurt, gram flour, tandoori masala powder, garam masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, kasoori methi, Kashmiri red chili powder,corn starch and oil.
  3. Mix all ingredients using wire whisker nicely.
  4. Add cut gobhi florets in to marinated masala and mix by hand, make sure all florets gets coated with marination from all sides. Once done, cover it and keep aside for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven at 450 degree F in baking mode. Line the baking tray with aluminum foil and grease with oil. Arrange the marinated gobhi on the baking tray.
  6. Place the tray in preheated oven and let it bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, flip the gobhi to other side and grease some oil on it. Let it grill for another 10-12 minutes till gobhi gets golden brown color.
  7. Change the oven mode to broil and broil it till slightly dark brown color. Keep checking in between to avoid it getting burnt.
  8. Once its done, turn off the oven and remove the tray from oven. Let it cool down a bit.
  9. Delicious hot Tandoori Gobhi is ready.
  10. Serve it hot with mint-coriander chutney as a snacks or appetizer.
