Chana Poori

Pani poori is one of the most popular street food in India. We love to eat this tangy and spicy snack. Poories are easily available in stores but making at home always better and fresh. Chana poori is a variation of normal poori of pani poori snacks. The dough is made using boiled ground chana,rava and wheat flour. This gives a really good taste to regular pani poori snacks. The process is exactly the same except for the dough.

Litti & Chokha

Litti (also called as bhouri in eastern India) & chokha is very popular and traditional dish from Bihar and Jharkhand. Traditionally litti is made on heat from coal or goyetha. Traditional food always give satisfaction to our taste buds.   Litti is made with wheat flour and a filling prepared using sattu and some spices. This is very tasty and healthy dish. It can be made either by Frying or baking. It goes very well with baigan bhartha or potato and tomato chokha or simply with curd.

Veg Fajita Roll( Kids Lunch Idea)

Every Mom has a challenge what to cook for school lunch.  Kids don’t want to carry same lunch again and again. Here is an idea which does require some prior preparation but can be done quickly in the morning. Veg fajita rolls are favorite of my kids. This recipe is easy to prepare. I generally do all preparation at night, like making dough and cutting vegetables. Early morning just make fajita and tortilla.
