Sweet Potato & Carrot Soup

Soup, generally used as an appetizer in Indian cuisines comes in variety of flavors based on ingredients. There are soups with ingredients such a lentil, tomato, beans, chicken and so on. The Chinese noodle soups are a entree rather than an appetizer. The two main kind of soups are clear and thick soups. This thick soup is prepared using sweet potato and carrot as main ingredients. It has beautiful red-orange color of carrot & beetroot, naturally sweetened by sweet potato and has hint of spices. This healthy and delicious soup is easy to prepare and best served with garlic bread and croutons. This is a favorite in my family and I keep getting demands for making this very often.

Tomato, carrot & beetroot soup is a light and healthy soup and its easy to make. Soups are all time favorite of our family. Soup is the first choice whenever we are in a restaurant. This soup is perfect for cold or rainy weather. Soups are great complement with your meal as a stater. The beetroot gives a wonderful color and as well as it makes soup more healthy. There are many kind of soup recipes like Tomato Soup, Lentil Soup, Minestrone Soup, Rasam so on. I have skipped adding any oil or butter to this recipe, however if you wish you can add butter as per your taste. The taste was awesome. Adding fresh basil leaves gives a niceĀ aroma and taste to the soup.
