Punjabi Pakora Kadhi

Kadhi is one of the easiest recipe which is made using gram flour (besan), yogurt( curd) and spices tadka. Normally, we make kadhi with bari. The bari made with besan and deep fried. Punjabi kadhi is made replacing bari with fried onion pakoras.  There are variety of kadhi recipe in different part of India. Punjabi pakora kadhi is one of them. Tilkut

”Happy Makara Sankranti” !!
Tilkut (sesame seeds bar) is a winter snack and is made during the festival of Makara Sankranti. People celebrate this festival in different ways in different parts of the country. In Bihar people celebrate it by taking early shower and performing puja. They eat chuda (Poha) with Dahi(Curd) with jaggrey or sugar and Tilkut laddos along with that. Tilkut is very easy to make and tastes awesome.

Sweet & Sour Mango Apple Chutney

Chutneys are very essential dishes in Indian cuisine. There are a variety of chutney recipes which can be found in India. Some are sweet and some are spicy. Indian food is incomplete without chutney. This recipe is made with two fruits which have tangy and sweet taste.  Apple and mango cooked with jaggrey and flavored with spices.It’s a great compliment with Paratha or with bread for breakfast. My kids love to take it to school with Paratha. It is very easy to prepare and you can store it for up to a couple of weeks in the fridge.
