Tilapia Fish Manchurian Dry

Manchurian’s are a very popular Indo Chinese starter and a personal favorite for most people. Tilapia fish Manchurian is a manchurian recipe similar to gobhi Manchurian or chicken Manchurian. In this recipe, the fish is crispy from the outside and soft and juicy inside. Ingredients
For Fish Marination and fish fry
For Manchurian Sauce
Instructions
For Tilapia Fish Marination
  1. Ingredients for marinating the fish and fish fry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add fish, salt, ginger & garlic paste, black pepper, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Mix all very nicely, cover it and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, corn starch and rava into the marinated fish. Mix it well, fish should be coated very well. Add a little water if needed.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan at medium to high heat. Once it is hot, reduce the heat to medium heat. Fry the fish until it has a golden color and is crispy from all side.
  4. Once it is done, remove the fried fish from the hot oil. Place it on tissue paper so that it absorbs the excess oil.
For Manchurian Sauce
  1. Keep all ingredients ready for Manchurian sauce. In small bowl, mix all sauces, sesame oil, and sugar and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a deep pan at medium heat, Add chopped ginger and garlic into it. Saute till ginger and garlic get slightly golden. Add onion and a pinch of salt. Saute it till onion gets translucent for one minute.
  3. Add celery, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper into it. Saute for two minutes. Add half of a spring onion and stir it.
  4. Add all sauces and saute it for few seconds. Add corn starch solution into it. Saute it for 15 sec. Stir it continuously.
  5. Add fried fish into the sauce. Stir it nicely till the fish gets coated in sauce from all sides. Turn off the heat.
  6. Tilapia fish Manchurian is ready to be served. Garnish with rest of the spring onion.
  7. Enjoy this yummy fish Manchurian as an appetizer with your favorite drink.
